There are options for spring tension and countless exercises that can be done on the reformer. Pilates on a reformer really helps target those small muscle groups and tone.
Compass Pilates’ classes utilise a reformer bed and a range of props to add more challenge to your workout. It is the perfect mix of functional exercise and strength conditioning designed to burn and give you lean, toned muscles fast! Client’s will combine their own body weight with spring resistance allowing for fluid movements that activate the core while training all areas of the body.

Originally called Contrology, the movement system was designed by Joseph Pilates and was influenced by a variety of sports including yoga, tai chi, boxing, acrobatics and others.
