TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Compass Pilates Pty Limited (ACN 635 807 288) is the owner and operator of this website.
The following Terms & Conditions apply to memberships, class packs, casual visits, private sessions, workshops, teacher training, online programs and other services provided by Compass Pilates.
These General Terms & Conditions should be read in conjunction with any applicable Compass Pilates Membership Agreement.
CLASS PACKS & MEMBERSHIPS
MEMBERSHIPS
Compass Pilates offers a range of membership options designed to suit different lifestyles, schedules and training goals.
Membership options may include Spark, Ignite, Elevate, Limitless, Early Bird, Night Owl, Annual and promotional memberships.
Each membership has its own Membership Agreement outlining the benefits, inclusions and conditions specific to that membership. These General Terms & Conditions should be read together with the applicable Membership Agreement.
Memberships renew automatically in accordance with the applicable Membership Agreement until cancelled.
Compass Pilates reserves the right to introduce, amend or discontinue membership options from time to time.
21 DAY COMPASS KICKSTARTER
The 21 Day Compass Kickstarter is available to new clients only and may only be purchased once per person.
Your Kickstarter begins from the date of your first booked class and is valid for 21 consecutive days.
The Kickstarter is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The Kickstarter cannot be paused or extended except where approved by Compass Pilates due to injury, illness or other exceptional circumstances.
Late cancellation and no show fees apply in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
The Kickstarter does not automatically renew.
CLASS PACKS
Compass Pilates offers the following Class Packs:
Casual Single Pass – valid for 30 days
5 Class Pack – valid for 6 months
10 Class Pack – valid for 6 months
20 Class Pack – valid for 12 months
Unused credits expire automatically at the end of the applicable validity period.
Class Packs are non-refundable and non-transferable.Unused credits expire automatically at the end of the validity period.
Class Packs may be shared between members of the same household. Requests must be made by emailing info@compasspilates.com.au before the classes are used.
Extensions will only be considered where a valid medical certificate is provided.
PRIVATE SESSIONS
Private Sessions are available as:
1:1 Private Sessions
2:1 Private Sessions
Group Private Sessions
Private Sessions are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase.
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a Private Session. Late cancellations will forfeit the session.
BOOKINGS and waitlists
Bookings can be made via the Compass Pilates website or the Momence App.
Bookings open up to 21 days in advance.
If your preferred class is fully booked, you are welcome to join the waitlist.
Should a position become available, you will automatically be added to the class in waitlist order and notified by email and/or SMS.
Please remove yourself from the waitlist if you no longer wish to attend.
Once you have been added to a class from the waitlist, the standard cancellation policy applies.
A minimum of two (2) participants is required for a class to proceed.
If fewer than two participants are booked approximately two hours before class commencement, Compass Pilates may cancel the class. Any booking credits will be returned to your account.
Booking is easy and can be done via our website or the Momence app which you can download in the Apple store or Google Play.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Compass Pilates operates a strict 6 hour cancellation policy to ensure fair access to classes for all members.
If you cancel more than six (6) hours before your scheduled class, your booking or class credit will be returned.
For Spark, Ignite and Elevate Memberships, Casual Passes and Class Packs, late cancellations and no shows will result in the forfeiture of the class credit used for that booking.
For Limitless Memberships and the 21 Day Compass Kickstarter:
• Late Cancellation (within 6 hours): $10 fee
• No Show: $20 fee
If your nominated payment method cannot be processed, any outstanding fees may be added to your next scheduled payment.
For safety reasons, members arriving more than five (5) minutes after class commencement will not be permitted to enter and will be treated as a late cancellation.
MEMBERSHIP MANAGMENT
Compass Pilates understands that your circumstances may change over time. Membership Holds, Upgrades, Downgrades and Cancellations are managed in accordance with your Membership Agreement.
MEMBERSHIP HOLDS
Eligible memberships may be placed on hold for up to six (6) weeks per calendar year.
Hold eligibility varies depending on your membership type. Please refer to your Membership Agreement for any conditions specific to your membership.
Medical holds may also be available where appropriate and supported by a medical certificate.
MEMBERSHIP UPGRADES & DOWNGRADES
Memberships may be upgraded or downgraded after you have been on your current membership for a minimum of four (4) weeks.
Changes take effect from your next scheduled billing date.
Please refer to your Membership Agreement for any membership-specific conditions.
MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATIONS
Membership cancellations are subject to 14 days' notice.
If a scheduled payment falls within the notice period, that payment will still be processed and your membership will remain active until the end of that billing period.
Immediate cancellation may be considered where a medical professional confirms you are permanently unable to participate.
Compass Pilates reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership where behaviour is abusive, threatening, unsafe or inappropriate towards staff or other members.
MEMBER FORMS
To help streamline administration and ensure requests are processed efficiently, Compass Pilates uses online forms for membership requests.
The following forms are available:
• Membership Hold Request Form
• Membership Upgrade / Downgrade Request Form
• Membership Cancellation Request Form
Using the correct form ensures your request reaches the right team and can be actioned as quickly as possible.
Requests submitted by SMS, email, Facebook Messenger, Instagram or directly to an instructor may be redirected to the appropriate form before they can be processed.
STUDIO POLICIES
Grip socks must be worn for all Reformer Pilates classes.
Children are not permitted in the studio unless participating in an authorised Compass Pilates program or event.
Compass Pilates reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate participation where behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, offensive or inappropriate towards staff or other members.
From time to time Compass Pilates may photograph or film classes, workshops, events and other activities for promotional purposes.
We may also tag members in social media posts where appropriate. If you would prefer not to be photographed, filmed or tagged, simply let a member of our team know and we will happily respect your preference.

Participation in Reformer Pilates and other exercise activities involves inherent risks. Participants should ensure they are medically fit to take part and advise their instructor of any injury, pregnancy or medical condition before participating.
Compass Pilates reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
