ROBYN LINKHORN

Founder and Head Trainer Robyn Linkhorn first found Pilates in 2009.

Robyn believes in creating an environment where you can feel warm and comfortable, move your body, sweat a little, laugh a lot and find the benefits of Pilates.

Holding a nationally accredited Certificate IV in Pilates and Boxilates, Robyn also is a Cert IV TAE qualified assessor and has worked in the Training and Assessment field for over 20 years.

Robyn believes that by training functional movement patterns in the studio people can transfer this knowledge and skill to their day-to-day lives and Move Better, Feel Better and Live Better.

 
 
Brooklyn

BROOKLYN

Brooklyn has a diverse athletic background, having played almost every sport, but found her true passion for dance and acrobatics at the young age of 8. By the time she was 15, she was already teaching dance. After graduating school in Queensland, she made the move down south to pursue a career in dance.

Currently, Brooklyn is a full time student studying at Lee Academy, to obtain her Advanced Diploma of Professional Dance.

When Brooklyn stumbled upon Reformer Pilates, she was instantly drawn to its effectiveness in providing a full body workout. Brooklyn loves the creativity involved in Reformer Pilates, and she loves to share her passion for the endless ways you can strengthen every part of the body.

 
 

CLAIRE

After years of trying various forms of exercise and fitness Claire fell head over heels for Pilates. Claire loves the functionality of pilates and its ability to give you a full body workout whilst also being fun! 

As Claire’s passion for pilates grew she found herself always wanting to be at the studio and so she decided to turn it into more than just a hobby. Claire is inspired by the incredible Pilates community that is inclusive, empowering and ever growing.

Spreading the love for both physical and mental well-being through Pilates magic is Claire’s mission. Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned pro, Claire's got your back (and your abs!) at every step. 

You can expect great vibes, fun flows and a juicy burn during Claire’s classes.

DANI

Dani found Pilates in 2020 after an unexpected skydiving mishap. Her journey to recovery led her to try Pilates as a way to rebuild strength, balance, and flexibility, and she fell in love with how good it made her feel both physically and mentally. 

Believing that physical and mental well-being go hand in hand, Dani is dedicated to helping you reach your fitness goals, whether that's getting stronger and fitter or just earning that extra cookie at morning tea. She understands that balance is important in both life and Pilates. 

Aside from her love for Pilates, Dani enjoys cracking jokes and exploring new experiences. When not in the studio, you can find Dani studying for Uni, Hiking, or maybe just taking a nap in a hammock; remember balance.

 
 

GEORGIA

Georgia discovered her passion for Pilates when her mum introduced her to a class, and she quickly fell in love with how Pilates offers not only a full-body workout but also benefits the mind.

With four years of practice under her belt, Georgia realised she wanted to share the transformative power of Pilates with others. She is committed to teaching mindful movement that enhances strength, coordination, and overall well-being.

In Georgia's classes, you can expect a dynamic full-body workout that challenges you at any level. With a mix of high energy and motivating music (to distract from the burn), you'll leave each session feeling invigorated and empowered in your body. HAYLEY

Hayley is a studying Health and Physical Education and is a Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer.

When Hayley begain Reformer Pilates she was amazed how much it improved her strength, balance, coordination and flexibility all in one.

Hayley loves a high energy class athletic style class that has you working your whole body to its full potential. She is highly motivated to encourage you to try those fun layers, and to push yourself so you leave feeling strong and empowered!

 
 

JESS

After working for several years as a Dietician in health care, Jess wanted to share her passion for health and fitness. She finds joy in motivating others to move their bodies with a mindful approach. It felt like a natural step for her to complete her Reformer and Mat Pilates certificate.

You can expect fun and challenging classes that offer variety. Every class is designed to leave you with a mind/body connection, so you're physically and mentally strong to tackle the rest of your day.

With lots of positive vibes, smiles and tunes to keep you in the moment, Jess will help you to overcome the challenge of the burn. (Gotta love those sneaky pulses).

 
 

KAYLA

Kayla found her passion for Pilates in 2020 doing online Mat Pilates when we were locked down and unable to train in studios. She shared her newfound passion with friends and family and found a love for assisting people to find movement in their lives. This inspired her to train with HIIT Pilates Reformer Academy at Compass Pilates.

Kayla is currently a full-time Psychology Honours student, and is combining her knowledge of mental health with the benefits of Pilates to support others through their unique wellness journeys. She believes that movement is therapeutic and fosters a deeper mind-body connection. 

Kaylas’ classes are upbeat and challenging suitable for everybody and will leave you  feeling strong and energised. Kayla will motivate you to push yourself to achieve the best for your body and wellbeing.

 
 

LYNDAL

Lyndal has been practicing pilates for over 25 years. Lyndal became accredited with HIIT Pilates Reformer Academy at Compass Pilates to enable her to share her passion for Pilates with others.

Athletic style reformer classes combine her love of choreography – beauty, precision and control with her favourite style of small group strength training – which fosters a desire to be your best and embraces all levels.

When not in the studio Lyndal is a mum, owns a boutique brand design studio and is a Casual Academic at UTS.

 
 

SAM

Sam is passionate about all things health and wellness and feeling good. Attending her first reformer class back when Robyn first opened her Long Jetty studio, she found her new favourite form of exercise. She fell in love with the Pilates burn and the mind/body connection.

Outside of Pilates, you’ll find Sam either running, walking, sipping a latte, or spending time with family and friends.

Sam’s classes are full body workouts, with lots of layers, combos and overall fun. Designed to challenge you and push you further than you believe you can go. Sam is passionate about making you feel like you’ve had a killer workout and leave feeling energised.

 
 

SARAH

Sarah has a strong background in dance starting at the age of 3 and has performed all over the world. She has performed in many corporate events and stage productions over the years, and had been teaching dance in Sydney and overseas for over 10 years.

From 2013-2019 Sarah was a resident performer and show manager at one of the top burlesque cabaret shows in the CBD in Sydney. 

Sarah has always had a love for health and fitness and has been working in the fitness industry for the last 7 years. She has her Cert III in Fitness and completed her Mat and Reformer Pilates training at Elixr in Sydney.

Sarah has been on the coast since May 2024 and has slotted in to the Compass Team like she has always been there.

Expect a strong work out, pumping tunes and lots of laughs!

 
 

SASKIA

Saskia comes from a strong dance background and trained in classical ballet for over 15 years. In 2015, she attended a full-time Dance Training Centre where she completed her Certificate IV in Dance.

Saskia began her teaching journey by sharing her love of movement with the dance community and has over 8 years of experience teaching ballet. In 2019, Saskia broadended her movement vocabularly and completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate. Later that year, she completed her Dynamic Pilates Course and began teaching both Yoga and Pilates across a number of studios.

Saskia is passionate about sharing her love of movement and making movement accessible for all. In her classes you can expect a focus on sequencing and layering to provide a variety of options, supersets for that pilates burn, and probably some bad jokes.

 
 

TIA

Tia discovered Reformer Pilates when a friend dragged her to a class (and she herself never showed up), and she instantly fell in love - it was love at first pike (pun intended!).

Tia believes our bodies are capable of achieving more than we know and she is passionate about improving mobility, posture, flexibility and strength.

Tia’s classes are fun, encouraging and allow you to really challenge yourself and unlock your own potential.
